Colorbond

Colorbond is by far the most popular choice when it comes to fencing. It’s durable, acts as a screening device and comes in a range of colours and heights: 1.5m, 1.8m and 2.1m. Before you choose the height of your fence.

Colorbond won’t rot, and it won’t burn—it’s a sure bet!

Colorbond comes with a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee. As with all our fencing, gates are also available.

Aluminium (horizontal slat)

If you’re thinking modern, then aluminium fencing, or horizontal slat fencing, can certainly lift the look of your home as well as adding privacy and good looks.

Slat fencing can be made with a wood grain finish such as Western Red Cedar and Spotted Gum, or maintenance free powder coated aluminium or steel. Matching gates and DIY slat fence kits are available. The gaps between the horizontal slats can be modified to provide more privacy or even make them comply with pool fencing regulations.

Slats are available in three common sizes: 38mm, 65mm and 100mm wide. Other sizes can be custom made.

Timber paling

Timber paling fences are common in Canberra, and nicely complement the natural environment. They’re particularly suitable for the more development suburbs of the ACT. There are ‘regular’ timber paling fences, where the individual timber palings are butted-up against each, or you can slightly overlap the palings to create a more private and textured look.

Timber paling comes in 1.5m, 1.8m or 2.1m heights.

Timber fencing is mainly used as boundary fencing and uses treated pine palings and hard wood posts. Capping, lattice and feature posts can be fitted to turn a simple paling fence into a decorative feature. We can also remove your existing fence.

As with all our fencing, gates are also available.

Glass

Glass fencing is a specialty of ours, and is mainly used to enclose pools. Glass is modern and more often than not is used as a stand-out feature. It provides safety, strength and security. It’s long-lasting, and offers sophistication and style.

We offer both semi-framed and frameless glass options, and we’re happy to talk you through your options to provide the best solution for your space. Frameless glass pool fences are built from toughened 12mm grade-A heat-strengthened safety glass. Semi Frameless fences can be built using 12mm toughened glass or 10mm laminated glass. All glass fencing and balustrading is made to comply with AS1170-1989.

As with all our fencing, gates are also available.

Tubular

Tubular fencing is the most common type of fencing used to enclose pool areas, and is the most cost-effective option when it comes to meeting pool safety requirements. Tubular fencing is aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive, making it a design dream for landscapers and architects.

We offer a large range of tubular steel pool fences, spa fencing, aluminium fencing and DIY fencing, including pool gates. Tubular fencing is available in a wide range of styles and heights varying from 900mm upwards.

Pool fences and spa fences are available in steel, aluminium or glass. By law, it is compulsory that all outdoor swimming pools are fenced.

As with all our fencing, gates are also available.

Picket

Picket fencing is a traditional and ‘charming’ form of fencing which comes in a choice of steel or aluminium. Like Colorbond, this form of fencing is durable, strong and low maintenance, more commonly available in powder coated steel.

Picket fencing comes in a range of styles to suit your home, with a large range of colours to choose from. We’ll help you choose the right one.

As with all our fencing, gates are also available.

Chainwire

Chainwire fencing—also known as chain mesh fencing—is mainly used for industrial and commercial areas. Chainwire is cost-effective, lightweight and hard-wearing option for security and factory fencing, school fences and permitters and council or commercial fencing projects.

For private purposes chainwire is used to screen tennis courts, cricket nets, dog runs and residential front yards, or really, for any large open space where you require some security or enclosure without blocking views.

Chainwire fencing can be used for heights in excess of 2.4m and comes with the option of galvanised or with a black PVC coating. You can also add barbed wire to the top of the fence for extra security.

As with all our fencing, gates are also available.

Security

Security fencing is commonly used in industrial and commercial areas, and is also popular around areas like schools and embassies.

Depending on the job, we can offer several different styles of security fencing ranging from light industrial through to heavy industrial options. We also offer a full range of matching gates, including heavy duty sliding gates up to 10 metres long. Gates can be remote control or manually operated.

This fencing also has the option of ‘crimped; or ‘blunt’ spears—pressed spear top, flat top, rod top or loop top, and comes in variety of heights, including 1.8m, 2.1m and 2.4m. If you’re not sure, ask us!
